Hi, I'm Ben Espey, and I have the privilege of serving homeowners in Jamaica Beach and Cypress, TX, as a Roofing Specialist with Rebel Roofing. My journey into this field came after years in the unpredictable Petroleum Industry. I wanted something more stable, something that would allow me to truly connect with my community while helping people protect their most prized possessions—their homes. There's a unique fulfillment in guiding someone through a challenging situation, and I find great joy in that.
When I go home to my family after a long day, I think about the families I help. I’ve been happily married to my wonderful wife for nearly 20 years, and we’re proud parents of three amazing kids and two lively grandkids. Our two Boxers keep life interesting, and I cherish the time we spend together, whether it’s fishing on Galveston Island or hosting friends by the pool at our Cypress home. My background as a retired firefighter taught me the importance of service, and I carry that commitment into every roofing project I take on.

As an engineer, I can tend to over analyze everything---especially a significant purchase like a roof! After I considered all aspects of their offering, they came out ahead in my analysis & even more importantly they delivered as promised. Their 25 year workmanship warranty is 2nd to none! The other company I had down selected, also a very sound reputable company, only offers a 5 year warranty. Of course, GAF offers a 25/50 year warranty on the product too. I have a pretty large roof--@50 squares and done in 1 day and after clean up, would never know anything was done--except seeing a new perfect roof.
